Design philosophies and musings.

So much about my process is about discovery as well as creativity. In the past few years I’ve started to see myself less as a “Costume Designer” and more as a “Theater Artist”. While much of what we do is tactile, there is an entire aspect of my process that is about composition and storytelling. With the Designer Diary my main goal is to explore and post about aspects of the world that I find interesting and pertains to costume and fashion history. Welcome!
